As the name suggests, BikeCondoms, Inc. provides a variety of motorcycle covers to keep your bike safe, dry, and clean. We're a small, mostly online shop based out of Chicago trying to do business and battle against all the big boys selling motorcycle accessories.
I swiped a bunch of paper towels from the bathroom, wiped off my bike, and hurried home. I knew then that I wanted to offer something to my fellow motorcyclists that would 1.) help make sure we ride as often as we can without hesitation, 2.) protect what brings up so much happiness, and 3.) make us laugh because life is too damn short.
As I began setting up the business a few months later, I found myself constantly answering, “What is the name of your business?” Whether it was a banker, designer, or even my friends, I would always first respond with a question of my own, “Do you ride?”
To this day, I receive a variety of reactions to the company’s name. It’s no surprise to me that those folks who ride or used to ride are usually those who laugh. I think we, the motorcycle community, tend to be more relaxed about things like this.
What you need to know is that we take you, your business, your motorcycle, and your motorcycle cover very seriously. Since we’re focused exclusively on motorcycle covers, we pride ourselves on serving the diverse needs and interests of our clients with a variety of products —whether it’s inexpensive but good or luxury and unique. And did we mention free shipping?

It has certainly been an interesting ride to get BikeCondoms, Inc. where it is today. It started on a spring morning in 2008 as I debated whether or not to take my motorcycle to my day job. The weatherman said there was a fifty-fifty chance of rain. As usual, I ignored the warning, took the bike to work, and parked it outside the office. It rained most of the afternoon, and I even delayed leaving work until it finally stopped.
